Wedding Color Palette: Gold, cornflower, daisy and appletini (FORGET that it’s cold out and fast forward to spring/summer with me!)

Another post to stamp out those dark winter blues! This cheery wedding color palette will add an flowy wedding dresses abundance of fresh spring/summer charm to even the coldest of days. The inspiration for this palette was the amazing photo I found of the beautiful blonde girl in the fantastic gold skirt – isn’t it just amazing? She is radiating with wedding dresses under 200 summer-goddess style, and the gold color against the sand is just stunning, and so uplifting. I WANT that skirt (if anyone has any idea where it came from, do get in touch!). Cornflower, daisy yellow and sweet appletini green combine and bring you the beauty of a fresh green meadow. This one’s easy to introduce to your wedding – think flowers, flowers and more flowers; decorative gold touches all over, and cornflower napkins and bridesmaids dresses. A true breath of beach wedding dresses fresh air!

book), when it. comes to costs,
dates and numbers, a national
average is a nifty way to see
how your plans compare to
other bndes. So we'il start
with the biggie the cost of a
wedding according to our survey

We whipped out the calculator
and discovered that the
average celebration had
sneaked up ready 3%
on last year to £19.779.


When it comes to footing the
bill, your dad can breathe a s*gh
of relief. Steve Martin might have
gone into monetary meltdown
in Father of short wedding dresses the Bride, but that
was just for laughs. Only around
one in ten fathers (and mothers)
of the bride now finance the big
day. Nearly half of you (47%)
are funding the celebration
yourselves, just ahead of the
option where everyone
contributes (and possibly
confirming the universal truth
that she who controls the
purse strings, controls the day).


So. compared to last year,
whats up, what's down, and
what hasn't changed?
• SAVE: Fewer guests. The
average guest list now stands at
96 (down 'rom last year's figure
of 101) meaning that sliding costs
can be kept more under control.
• SAVE: Guests are lace wedding dresses less likely
to break out the paracetamol
with booze bills down 5%
to £1205.
• STICK: Bridesmaids' flowers
came in at £102 this year, the
same as 2009.

• STICK: The average spend on
bridal shoes is now £96, just
one pound less than last year.
• SPLURGE: Lasting memones
are more important than ever
as the average videography bill
lumps a whopping 69% to £924.
• SPLURGE: Honeymoon
budgets jump by £70 to modest wedding dresses £2935.
Arid your travel wardrobe is
up too. nearly 20% to £300.
